Garner's Pizza & Wings

Garner's Pizza & Wings serves tavern-style and Chicago-style deep dish pizza alongside its wings, which come in a long list of sauces and dry rubs with a heat scale running from zero to extreme. Specialty pizzas, build-your-own pizzas and pizza-and-wing combos are the core of the menu, and the restaurant also makes hot sandwiches like the Italian beef and the locally made pork tenderloin, plus homemade fresh cut fries and streusel desserts.

It started as a carry-out operation in 1993 and later expanded into a dining room at 124 Detroit Avenue in Morton, where lunch crowds and local workers stop in. Orders can be placed online or by phone, with a flat $4 delivery fee to Morton, Tremont, Groveland and parts of East Peoria. Lunch combos 1 through 4 run from 11 AM to 2 PM Monday through Saturday, and the restaurant is not a gluten-free kitchen.
