Moe's Original BBQ

Moe's Original BBQ is a locally owned barbecue restaurant in Monroe, run by North Carolina natives from the Gentry and Davis families. Meats are slow-smoked over oak and fruit woods, and the kitchen makes its menu from scratch each day, with classic Southern sides, seasonal specials and house-made sauces that the restaurant is known for.

Guests can dine in, take out, or order through DoorDash. The space has a children's area, bar seating with TV packages, and beer and wine with local brewery taps. Catering comes in three forms: pre-packaged pickup packages, a la carte smoked meats and sides, or full-service events with buffet setup and delivery. Catering orders need 24 hours' notice and cover groups of 15 to 500 people.
