Old-fashioned meat market cutting orders to order10750 Normandale Boulevard, Bloomington, MN
Von Hanson's Meats is a neighborhood meat market that started in 1983 in Apple Valley, Minnesota, when co-founders Pete Von Bank and Dick Hanson set out to bring back the old-fashioned meat market. Meat is cut and packed to order rather than sold pre-packaged, and the shop has grown to several locations across the Twin Cities area. Deli products, bakery items, seasonal produce and frozen foods are also sold.
Each location is locally managed, and the company runs fundraising programs with local schools and churches, including sales of lasagna and chicken gift certificates. Gift cards work at any Von Hanson's location and do not expire. Game processing is also offered, and some stores host brat stands. The Bloomington location is at 10750 Normandale Boulevard.
