Taqueria La Estrella

Taqueria La Estrella is a family-owned Mexican restaurant that opened in 2013 and takes its name from the owners' youngest daughter. The menu centers on street tacos, with four double corn tortillas filled with marinated pork, cheek meat, shredded beef or diced chicken, plus fajitas, enchiladas, tamales, quesadillas and chile relleno. A full bar serves margaritas and other cocktails.

Larger orders suit family gatherings, with taco party trays, tamales by the dozen and catering all listed on the menu, and online ordering is available. Live bands perform at times. The restaurant is at 200 NE 27th Ave in Mineral Wells, open late most evenings and until mid-afternoon on Sundays.
