The Bread Pedalers

The Bread Pedalers is a family-owned bakery and cafe that specializes in coffee and artisanal sourdough bread, with made-from-scratch pastries, cakes and breakfast items. The menu includes bagel sandwiches, grilled cheese on sourdough, cinnamon rolls and seasonal drinks such as lattes and cold brew. Gluten-free and vegan options are offered.

The bakery was started by sisters Sam and Skylar Schneider, who are also professional cyclists, and it opened in October 2022 at 1436 S 92nd St. in West Allis. Seating is available indoors and on a rooftop patio when the weather allows, and there is a bike rack behind the building. Pre-orders and custom orders can be placed through the website. Baked goods are made in limited quantities and change daily, so the offerings vary from day to day.
