Pathways Counseling

Pathways Counseling Center is a state certified, outpatient mental health clinic that has been operating since 1985. Its clinicians work with individuals, couples and families, and the clinic is best known for child and family therapy and for treatment of sexual issues, including group therapy for sexual behavior concerns. Services also cover abuse and trauma work with EMDR, psychiatric medication management, and therapy for transgender and gender-affirming care.

All services are by appointment only, and the clinic runs a 24-hour emergency answering service for clients. It accepts most health insurance plans, and clinicians outside a client's network can sometimes be asked to join. Uninsured clients can ask about a flexible fee schedule. Missed appointments not cancelled 24 hours in advance are charged and not covered by insurance. The clinic is at 11121 W. Oklahoma Avenue in West Allis.
