Model Empire

Model Empire is a mail order company in the model and die-cast hobby, which describes itself as one of the largest and oldest of its kind. It stocks new and discontinued model kits, die-cast models, aftermarket accessories and decals. Its selection of factory-original kits still in their shrink-wrapped factory shipping cases is a specialty, and shoppers looking for a particular kit are asked to call.

The storefront is closed to the public, so business runs by phone, email and scheduled appointments. Not every kit is listed on the website, so calling about a specific request is the way to check what is in stock. The company says its prices are competitive and that it has thousands of satisfied mail order customers.
