Heinsight Leather Wauwatosa

Heinsight is a custom leather boutique founded by Cindy Hein, who began in the 1980s doing tailoring, alterations and custom bridal work from her home. The shop makes custom leather pieces and handles leather alteration and repair, and it also carries a selection of jackets, shearlings, fur accessories and handbags. Cindy's own wristlet clutches, each one different on either side and open to customization, are part of the lineup.

All work is done on the premises, and the shop opened its storefront in 1997 in Wauwatosa. Cindy and her team focus on making leather fit well so customers look their best. The shop's address on Harwood Avenue is in Milwaukee, and a Labradoodle named Maggie greets visitors at the door.
