Freese's Candy Shoppe

Freese's Candy Shoppe makes homemade candy and hand-dipped chocolates, and its Heavenly Roasted Nuts are cashews, pecans and almonds coated in cinnamon and sugar. The menu includes Pecan Turtles, Sea Salt Caramel, Mint Meltaways and English Butter Toffee. The recipes have been passed down through three generations of the family.

Gift boxes, corporate candy gifts, custom candy orders and wedding candy favors are a big part of the business, and seasonal and holiday candy gifts are available as well. Orders can be placed online. The shop has a location in historic downtown West Allis, where the original store opened in 1928 with a soda fountain, and a second location in Milwaukee.
