Ms. Claudia's Village Academy

Ms. Claudia's Village Academy is an infant-through-kindergarten day school that also runs after-school care through fifth grade, tutoring through third grade, and seasonal camps for ages 4 to 12. Founded in 2007 by Ms. Claudia Cubillos, a former Mayor of El Portal, the school offers a VPK and preschool program with small class sizes, and its teachers are CPR and First Aid trained.

The school is at 8661 NE 2nd Avenue in El Portal and is open weekdays with weekend hours by appointment. Transportation to and from school is available, and the school also offers babysitting on two Fridays a month. Registration for the 2026-2027 VPK and preschool year was open at the time of the site review.
