The Doghouse School

The Doghouse School is a dog daycare and boarding facility that describes itself as a cultural hub for dogs. The school was founded in 2018 by Pete, who left a career in advertising to build a place shaped around what dogs want, and it leans into play, mud, digging and free-running. Services are split into boarding, which the site frames as sleep, daycare for play, and carpool rides for getting dogs to and from the school.

Drop-off and pickup are limited to set windows: weekday mornings from 7:00 to 9:00 and afternoons from 4:00 to 6:00 for departures only, with shorter weekend windows. The school states that the hours are strictly enforced and that afternoon arrivals are not accepted. The Doghouse School is at 3710 Summer Ave in Memphis, Tennessee.
