Mutt Island

Mutt Island is a dog daycare, boarding and grooming facility in Downtown Memphis, located in the Edge District. Daycare days give dogs group play across about 10,000 square feet of indoor space and a fenced natural grass yard of about 5,000 square feet. Grooming ranges from baths and custom cuts to specialty hair dyeing, teeth brushing and nail care, and overnight stays are available for longer trips.

Daycare requires proof of vaccinations and a no-charge pre-stay evaluation before a first visit. Grooming appointments are strongly recommended, with walk-ins accepted when space allows. A veterinarian is on call 24 hours a day, which gives boarding guests extra peace of mind. The business is locally owned, and its team brings more than 30 years of experience in veterinary and grooming work.
