TAGHAVIS ORIENTAL RUGS

Taghavi's Oriental Rugs is a family-owned rug store and repair shop that has operated in Memphis since 1977. The store sells Oriental and antique Persian rugs, with an inventory of more than 5,000 pieces, and many of them come from trips the owners make to weaving regions. Cleaning and repair are done on site by hand, without machines or harsh chemicals, and the founder, Ali Taghavi, is a master weaver.

Customers can visit the showroom to shop, or ask about a custom-made rug. Rugs can also be picked up from your home and delivered back after cleaning or repair, and the shop offers free estimates. Taghavi's is at 3554 Park Avenue in Memphis, and its showroom hours are Monday through Thursday, with Friday and Saturday visits by appointment.
