Tame Dog

Tame Dog Training runs board-and-train programs for puppies and adult dogs, with 10-day, 17-day and 31-day options that build on-leash and off-leash obedience. The 31-day Premier program adds practice in busy public spaces such as downtown McKinney, and the team also works with dogs that have mild to moderate anxiety or aggression. Training combines praise, treats, and measured corrections, and social behavior work covers greetings and manners around other dogs.

Visits are by appointment only, so call or email before stopping by, since the facility is also a working kennel and family home. The first step is a complimentary phone evaluation. Private one-on-one and virtual private lessons are offered alongside boarding, and there is a service dog program. Office hours run daily, and the business is in McKinney, Texas, a short drive from Dallas.
