Local Yocal BBQ and Grill

Local Yocal BBQ & Grill is a family-owned Texas restaurant in McKinney built around beef. The menu centers on Wagyu steaks, barbecue and southern Americana dishes such as chicken fried steak, with seasonal dishes and chef's specials on top. Meats come from the restaurant's own butcher shop, and the kitchen cooks from scratch under Chef Adam West.

Reservations and online orders are both available. The bar pours local craft beer, single barrel bourbons, handpicked wines and barrel aged cocktails made with house-made ingredients. The restaurant is in historic downtown McKinney, in a renovated former grocery warehouse. Monthly pairing dinners and live music take place at its event space, The Augustus, which also suits larger groups. Catering and gift cards are available too.
