MeowTown Cat Lounge

MeowTown Cat Lounge is a nonprofit cat lounge where visitors spend time with adoptable rescue cats in a warm, home-like space. The nonprofit was founded with a dual mission: creating meaningful employment for people with special needs and neurodiverse adults, and finding permanent homes for rescue cats. Visitors can pay for a single visit, a four-hour pass or a monthly membership.

A 50-minute lounge visit is offered for $25, with discounted rates for military, veterans, first responders, nurses, teachers and seniors, applying to the individual only. Reservations are recommended because the lounge fills up quickly, though walk-ins are accepted when space allows. Gift cards are available, and the lounge hosts private events. The business is at 1345 Chain Bridge Road in McLean.
