Renfrow Hardware

Renfrow Hardware is a hardware store in downtown Matthews with roots going back to 1900. It is known for edible gardening products and classes, baby chicks and poultry supplies, key cutting, American-made goods like Lodge Cast Iron, and locally made honey and seasonal produce from the Renfrow Farms property.

The store also handles unusual hardware searches and home repair needs, and it offers blade sharpening and tool repairs. Its greenhouse receives new plant shipments several times a week during peak season, March through May. The store is open Tuesday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, and is closed on weekends and Mondays.
