Legacy Pointe Academy

Legacy Pointe Academy is an early child development center in Marietta that takes infants from six weeks old through preschool age, and offers an after-school Creative Arts Development Academy for children ages 5 through 13. Rather than steer children toward one art form, the academy introduces them to drama, dance, creative writing, art and design, and music, then watches what they choose. Meals and snacks are prepared in-house, following guidelines from the Nutritional Aid Network for Children.

Classrooms are set up for specific age groups, and the toddler room uses calming decor and classical music at nap time. Entry is controlled by a keypad and fingerprint system. The center uses certified green cleaning products and teaches children the three R's. Transportation can pick children up from local schools. Families can set up a time to meet the director and tour the building, which sits on the corner of Washington Avenue and Fairground Street, two blocks from the Marietta Square.
