First Tee

First Tee - Manhattan is a youth development program that uses golf to teach kids and teens life skills. Its junior golf programs combine the game with a character and life skills curriculum, aiming to build self-confidence, resilience and leadership that carry into school, friendships and later work. The program runs summer golf camps, an Ace Program and a Girls' Academy for teen girls, along with other programs that run through the year.

Families can register a child through the program's website, and adults can get involved by becoming a coach or supporting the organization through donations. The program is based at Colbert Hills Golf Course at 5200 Colbert Hills Drive in Manhattan, Kansas.
