Salt + Sea Head Spa

Salt + Sea Head Spa is a private head spa run by owner and founder Letty Mendiola, a licensed cosmetologist with more than 13 years of experience. The menu centers on scalp treatments, including scalp detoxes, hydration rituals and a scalp and skin renewal session that adds a mini facial using Korean skincare. Treatments draw on Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese and Filipino head spa techniques.

Every appointment is one-on-one, so groups and parties are not accommodated, though friends can book back-to-back appointments. Hair must be rough dry, and extensions must be fully removed before a visit. Cancellations carry a 30% fee, and the spa is at Highland Ave in Manhattan Beach, with Saturday hours ending early and Sundays closed.
