Cento

Cento is an Italian restaurant on the 100 block of West Mifflin Street in downtown Madison, known for handmade pastas, slow-roasted meats and pizzas from a wood-burning oven. The menu includes dishes like bucatini alla carbonara, rigatoni al ragù, lobster fettuccine and a 16 oz. dry-aged bone-in ribeye, along with a Kitchen Table option for a multi-course meal next to the open kitchen.

The restaurant has a wine list of more than 150 bottles, with over 20 by the glass, and a bar serving Negronis, spritz and vermouth on tap. Reservations can be made online or by phone, and the restaurant also hosts private events and catering. Cento sits across from the Overture Center for the Arts and a block from the State Capitol, and its menu includes a three-course theater dinner available before select Overture shows and after Sunday matinees.
