Bright Child Learning Center

Bright Child Learning Center is a Montessori early childhood program in Madison that takes children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. Its infant, toddler and preschool classrooms include math, practical life, sensorial, culture studies and language and reading, along with music, Spanish and sign language. The center says it was the area's first infant Montessori program and is rated 5-star by YoungStar, Wisconsin's childcare quality rating organization.

The center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Families join a waitlist for free, and the center contacts them when there is a fit and an opening. Its director, Lisa Knudson, has more than 20 years of early childhood experience. The building sits off PD/McKee Road and Maple Valley Drive, near Fitchburg, and the front office can see into every classroom.
