Reward-based training for fearful, reactive and impulsive dogsMadison, CT
Applaud The Dog is a positive reinforcement dog training business run by certified trainer Kelly Leisten. Its focus is dogs who are fearful, reactive, anxious or impulsive, with private sessions and group classes built around rewarding the behavior owners want. Common concerns addressed include leash pulling, barking and lunging, guarding food or toys, jumping, and riding in the car.
Private training can happen in the home, out and about, or in the classroom. Classes are held at Parkview Plaza in Guilford, near I-95 exit 57. Kelly serves towns along the Connecticut Shoreline, including Madison, Guilford, Branford and Old Saybrook, and also takes clients in other parts of New Haven and Middlesex Counties. Questions can be sent by email or phone.
