Standard Club

Standard Club is a private club on about 150 acres off Brownsboro Road, built around an 18-hole golf course designed by E. Lawrence Packard. The grounds also include five clay tennis courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a children's pool, fishing docks and a golf practice facility.

Membership is required, and the club advertises no initiation fees, food minimums or assessments. Tee times are for members. The club's roots go back to a downtown dining and social club before it moved to a golf course in 1910. The clubhouse was rebuilt in 1997 after a fire during renovation, and members and their guests use the practice facility.
