Specialty food shops in Louisville

Specialty food shops carry the ingredients and prepared goods that everyday grocery aisles often skip, from whole bean coffee and artisan chocolates to sauces, spices and ready-to-eat meals. Many also sell in bulk or supply offices and restaurants. In Louisville, you can compare what different shops stock before you go. Before you choose one, ask whether they carry the specific item you need, such as a particular roast or spice blend, and whether they offer samples or can grind beans to your brewing method. If you plan to buy in quantity for an office or event, call ahead to ask about minimum orders, delivery and how far in advance to order, since wholesale and meal prep orders often need lead time.
