Purrfect Day Cafe

Purrfect Day Cafe is a cat cafe that pairs drinks and snacks with time in a room of adoptable cats. Its main purpose is adoption: the cafe works with shelter partners to place cats into homes, and it reports adopting out over 10,000 cats since opening. Visitors can also buy merchandise such as t-shirts, stickers and tumblers.

Reservations are strongly recommended, especially on weekends, holidays and in summer, since the kitten room often books up. The cafe area is open to walk-in guests, and drinks can be brought into the cat room but food cannot. Adults-only visits are offered after 6 pm. The Louisville location is at 1741 Bardstown Rd. in the Highlands, and a second cafe is in Covington, Kentucky.
