Meridian Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine

Meridian Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine offers acupuncture, custom raw herb formulas and cupping therapy, all grounded in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The practice was founded in 2012 by Robert and Karen Gittli, and its practitioners treat a wide range of conditions, from back pain, migraines and insomnia to fertility support, women's health and digestive disorders. Herbal formulas are built from a catalog of more than 200 medicinals.

Sessions for acupuncture run 60 minutes and begin with a health history discussion, followed by pulse and tongue diagnosis. Herbal consultations are also available for people not currently receiving acupuncture. The clinic is in the Meridian Building on Wallace Ave in Louisville, next to Simply Thai, and it is open weekdays with Saturday visits by appointment only. Insurance coverage varies, so it is worth calling the clinic or your insurer before a first visit.
