Bridgehaven Mental Health Services

Bridgehaven Mental Health Services offers community-based psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery services for adults living with mental illness. Its programs include psychiatric rehabilitation, a Center for Peer Excellence, and IPS supported employment services, with peer support and training also offered.

Bridgehaven was founded in 1958 as the first community program of its kind in Jefferson County, created to help people move from mental hospitals back into everyday community life. The office is at 950 S. 1st Street in Louisville, and the organization also offers education and support, along with a Deaf and hard of hearing services program.
