Home Preservation Services

Home Preservation Services is a general contractor that runs a subscription-based home maintenance program, sometimes called stewardship, for homeowners. The company plans and performs upkeep on the house and landscape so small problems are caught before they become costly repairs. Services cover maintenance, repairs, estate management, special projects, landscape maintenance and emergency response.

The company was founded in 1984 by Steve Spratt and began serving homeowners under its stewardship system in 1995, with roughly 200 subscribers along the San Francisco Peninsula. The office is at 1178 Los Altos Avenue in Los Altos. New subscribers can request a free initial home evaluation before deciding whether to sign up.
