Fingerprints Music

Fingerprints Music is an independent record store in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach, known for a hand-curated stock of new and used records, CDs, cassettes, 8-tracks, DVDs and Blu-rays. The shop also carries books, artist merchandise, gifts and one-of-a-kind collectibles and artworks, so it works as a shop, a music museum and a gallery at once.

The store has hosted intimate performances, usually with under 250 attendees, for more than 30 years, including shows by Foo Fighters, Patti Smith, Brian Wilson and Jack Johnson. The shop also buys record collections, especially LPs, and will discuss CD, DVD and music memorabilia collections. Anyone looking to sell a collection should contact the store to arrange a viewing.
