Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity

Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity runs this ReStore, a retail store selling donated building materials, appliances, cabinets, windows, doors, fixtures and furniture at a fraction of normal retail prices. Stock comes from contractors who donate leftover and discontinued materials and from homeowners remodeling their houses. Proceeds help the nonprofit build homes for families in need.

Donors can request a pickup online or by phone, which is handy for anyone moving and wanting to skip a yard sale. The ReStore provides a receipt for a tax deduction. The store is on Dresser Lane in Leland and is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
