Sparkle Self Serve Car Wash

Sparkle Self Serve Car Wash runs self-serve wash bays in Lakeville and Lexington, Minnesota. Each bay offers a full cycle: tire and motor cleaner, presoak, high-pressure soap, a hogs hair foam brush, wax, a wax-free rinse and a spot-free rinse. The owners say they use professional-grade chemicals and put plenty of product into every cycle, and they visit each site daily.

Payment works with quarters, dollar coins, car wash tokens or credit and debit cards. The change machine dispenses tokens, and a card swipe places a $2 hold that settles to the final amount after the wash. A dollar buys roughly 1 minute 30 seconds to 1 minute 45 seconds of wash time, depending on location, with a $1 minimum. The taller bays fit trucks and RVs under 11 feet 6 inches, and the outside vacuums take tokens only.
