Advanced Wireless Communications

Advanced Wireless Communications, also known as AWC, designs and integrates wireless communication systems for businesses. Its work centers on two-way radios, in-building wireless coverage, public safety signal systems, and charging solutions such as the CHARGE-ALL base stations that accept mixed device cups. The company serves national retail, senior living, logistics and enterprise customers, along with Minnesota businesses, schools and channel partners who resell its products.

AWC was founded in 1992 by Ben and Ken Coons, began as a cellular retail store, and shifted its focus to two-way radios and communication systems in 2015. Its offices are in Lakeville, Minnesota, and the office is open Monday through Friday during business hours. Customers can reach the sales team by phone or email, and the company also runs a customer support line for existing equipment.
