Blind Squirrel

Blind Squirrel is a pub on the north side of Kent, Ohio, known for its pub food and a menu that runs from garlic cheese curds and fried haddock to burgers, wraps and hot dogs. Regulars often order the Pub Burger, the Squirrely Dog with pierogies, or the Pulled Pork Pierogies, and the house-made pub chips and Lawsons dip are a local favorite. The menu also includes salads with local hydroponic lettuce and a daily soup.

The pub is at 802 North Mantua Street and is open daily, with the kitchen closing earlier on weweeknights than on weekends. The back room can be reserved for parties of up to 30 people by phone. Blind Squirrel also runs a Squirrel Hunt: customers who bring in a tagged Squirrel can stop in to find out what it is worth.
