Burds Nest

The Burds Nest is a resale shop, antiques and collectibles store, and craft and gift shop in Bacliff. Its displays mix vintage and antique pieces with new merchandise and local handmade work, including crafted box signs and tea towels. Shoppers can browse collectibles, gifts and home items, and many pieces come with stories about their past.

The shop sits on Grand Avenue and is open Wednesday through Saturday and on Sunday afternoons, closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Visitors can start on the front porch with a complimentary cup of coffee or a cold bottle of water. The store also hosts crafting classes, such as epoxy resin art, chalk paint and stained glass basics, and occasional pop-up shopping events. Schedules are posted on its Facebook page, and crafters who want to teach a class can get in touch.
