Upfront Pest

Upfront Pest is a locally owned pest control company in the Kansas City area, founded by a longtime teacher and youth soccer coach. It runs a subscription model built around an initial treatment, then scheduled quarterly visits that refresh a protective barrier around the home. Common pests such as ants, spiders and wasps are covered, and plans can add lawn treatment for ants, fleas and ticks, rat and mouse protection, and mosquito reduction around the home.

Plans are billed monthly on a 12-month initial commitment and can be signed up for entirely online or by phone or text. Service is often available the same day. Quarterly visits are handled without the customer needing to be home, with a text the day before and another when the technician leaves. If pests return between visits, the company will re-treat the problem area at no extra cost. The office is at 1321 Burlington St. in North Kansas City.
