Dry-aged steaks, whiskey and live jazz in a historic building931 Broadway Blvd, Kansas City, MO

The Majestic Restaurant is a steakhouse in a historic 1911 saloon building on Broadway Boulevard, known for USDA Choice and Prime beef, dry-aged cuts and a long whiskey list of more than 300 bottles. The dining room has a grand bar dating to 1910, a restored pressed tin ceiling and an 18-foot mural by local artist Jack O'Hara. Seafood, lamb, chicken and pork entrees are also on the menu, along with oysters and a seafood tower.
Jazz plays nightly, with solo pianists in the main dining room and trios in The Jazz Club, a former prohibition-era speakeasy where seating is limited and reservations are strongly recommended. Drinks and appetizers only are served at the Jazz Club bar on a limited basis. The Pendergast Club on the top floor is a members-only cigar lounge, with nightly memberships available by booking. Parking is in a lot east of the building, reached from the alley or from Central.
