Thistledown Farm grows more than 75 crops on a farm stand and nursery operation between Eugene and Junction City, offering fresh vegetables, fruit, hazelnuts, u-cut flowers, baked goods and free-range grass-fed beef. The farm stand is open from early spring until after Halloween, and the greenhouses sell annuals, veggie starts, perennials, hanging baskets and grasses. A pumpkin patch with rides opens each fall.
The farm is run by Randy and Pam Henderson and their family, and it has been operating since 1981. Visitors can find it on River Road, just north of Eugene, and the stand is open daily from 9am to 5pm. Customers often come for the seasonal berries, sweet corn and tomatoes, and the stand also sells frozen berries and other products from the area.
