Cimarrone Golf Club is a semi-private, 18-hole course designed by David Poselthwait, running through pine forests and marshland in North Florida. The 6,900-yard layout has rolling terrain, fairway and green-side mounds and plenty of water hazards. The practice area includes a natural grass range, a short game area with sand bunkers and a putting green. The club was established in 1988 and is now under new ownership.
The 10,000 square foot clubhouse has a restaurant and lounge, the Stone & Barrel Taphouse, plus banquet space for over 140 people, used for weddings, retirement dinners and golf outings. Groups of up to 144 golfers can book scramble, tee time or modified shotgun formats. Members can rent the clubhouse at a discounted rate, and the Wild One loyalty program announces weekly events. The golf academy offers programs combining instruction, fitness and on-course coaching. The club is at Cimarrone Boulevard in Jacksonville.
