Trumpet Blossom Cafe

Trumpet Blossom Cafe serves creative seasonal dishes made without animal products, with as many local ingredients as the kitchen can source and a preference for organically grown produce. Chef and owner Katy Meyer leads a menu split between the kitchen, the bar, a deli-style carryout section and a bakery case.

Dine-in tables and seasonal patio seating are available, along with carryout and delivery through Chomp. The cafe is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday and closed Sundays and Mondays, with later hours on Friday and Saturday. Only registered service animals are allowed inside under Iowa health code, so pets cannot come in, including to the patio. It is on East Prentiss Street in Iowa City.
