The Children's Corner Preschool

The Children's Corner is a nonprofit, part-time preschool serving children ages 2 through Pre-K. Its programs are play-based, with free choice time as a daily part of the schedule, and focus on social skills, emotional growth and early learning. Classes are split by age, with 2s and 3s, 3s and 4s, and a readiness-focused Pre-K for children heading to Kindergarten.

The school was founded in 1967 and sits in the Meridian-Kessler neighborhood on the north side of Indianapolis. Families can arrange a tour by appointment, and the staff will answer questions by phone or email. Small class sizes and low student-to-teacher ratios are part of the approach.
