Parkview Cooperative Preschool

Parkview Cooperative Preschool is a play-based cooperative preschool that has been educating children since 1965. Its three classes, Froggies (ages 2 to 3), Turtles (ages 3 to 4) and Caterpillars (ages 4 to 5), each run with their own teacher and traditions, and classes sometimes come together for multi-age activities.

The school is member-led, and parents and caregivers work alongside trained professional teachers during the school day, so families have a voice and a stake in how it runs. Families can ask about enrollment dates by email, and the application process is described on the website. The school is located at First-Meridian Heights Presbyterian Church on Central Avenue in Indianapolis, though it is not affiliated with the church.
