Barracuda Taco Stand builds its menu around tacos on fresh flour tortillas, with fillings that range from grilled chicken marinated in achiote and citrus to roasted pork with chicharrones and grilled sirloin. Crispy beer-battered Louisiana catfish and charred broccoli are also on the menu, along with quesadillas and chips served with house salsas. The margaritas are made with Lunazul blanco tequila, and breakfast tacos are served in the morning.
The Huntsville location is open every day, and it runs a daily happy hour from 3 to 6 PM featuring deluxe nachos. Guests can eat at outdoor tables or take food to go, and drinks are ordered at a bar window. Catering is available. The stand is part of a small group with locations in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
