Palace Inn

Palace Inn is a hotel chain with several properties across the Greater Houston area. Rooms come as doubles, king rooms and suites, with flat-screen TVs, in-room microwaves and mini-fridges. The brand runs a few tiers: Palace Inn Blue is aimed at guests wanting a more upscale stay, and Palace Inn Red offers standard rooms at lower rates.

Guests get free hot coffee, high-speed wi-fi, premium TV channels and grab-n-go items. Parking is secured, and there is on-site management around the clock. Pets are not allowed at many locations, so check with the specific property before bringing one. The Houston location is handy for NASA, the Texas Medical Center and both major airports.
