Lake Road Inn

Lake Road Inn is a restaurant and bar founded in 1934 that serves pizza, lunch sandwiches like the shrimp po' boy, and dinner entrees such as blue gill. The menu includes Irish nachos as an appetizer, and the kitchen cooks everything in-house. Daily specials rotate, and the restaurant also hosts events.

The inn sits on Lake Bloomington in Hudson, Illinois, and draws lake visitors, especially boaters stopping mid-day. Hours run from late afternoon on Mondays through Sunday mornings, with the kitchen open until 9 PM most nights. Owner Craig Hanson runs the restaurant alongside his insurance work, and the manager Teri oversees daily operations.
