Green Gables Bar and Grill

Green Gables Bar & Grill is a family-friendly restaurant and bar known for its smash burgers, made fresh to order. Guests can build their own, choosing one to four quarter-pound patties, extras like bacon, pickles and chipotle mayo, and one of five cheeses. The menu also includes a Philly cheesesteak with steak or chicken, a hot ham and cheese grilled in brown sugar butter rum sauce, and a chicken melt on Texas toast. Green Gables also serves 40 Horse Limit, a blonde ale brewed by Analytical Brewing.

The grill is open daily from 11 to 9, and the bar stays open later, until 11 on Sunday through Thursday and 1 on Friday and Saturday. Grocery and bait are sold starting at 6:30 in the morning. The beer is available only here and at Analytical Brewing. Gift cards and merchandise are also sold, and the restaurant is located in N Hudson, Illinois.
