THE HOME COMPANIES

The Home Companies is a residential design-build firm that also handles real estate. Its work covers whole home remodels, kitchen and bath remodels, room additions, basement renovations, sunrooms and porticos, with interior styling and color consultation alongside the construction. The company was started in 2004 as a small boutique real estate firm and has grown into a full-service design and build company, with owner Marius Tatarunas leading construction and real estate and Amy Peacock leading interiors.

Projects are handled by a team, and the company offers tiered design plans to fit different budgets. It works from an office at 500 Whitter Avenue in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and clients can reach the team by phone or email. Some of its designers also do real estate work, and the team takes on partial remodels as well as full projects.
