The Design House

The Design House is a kitchen and bath remodeling firm and interior design studio. Designers Tara and Allison have more than 40 years of combined experience, and their core work is kitchen and bathroom remodels, with custom cabinetry, countertops, lighting, window treatments and furniture selection. The studio also works with builders on the finishes and layouts of new homes.

A consultation is the first step, where Tara and Allison talk through your vision and budget and outline what is possible. The shop offers products to suit a range of budgets, and manufacturer warranties are available on many items. The office is open weekdays, with Saturdays by appointment. The studio is based in Hiawatha and serves Cedar Rapids, Marion and the surrounding Corridor area.
