The Polished Pooch Grooming Salon

The Polished Pooch Grooming Salon offers dog and cat grooming with all-inclusive appointments. Dog visits cover a bath, brushing out tangles, coat conditioning, nail clipping, hand drying, and a haircut in the owner's chosen style, with ear cleaning and anal gland checks included. Cat grooming covers much of the same care. Prices depend on the pet's size, temperament, coat condition, and style, and pets not groomed every four to eight weeks cost more.

Booking can be done online or by phone, and owners must show proof of a current rabies vaccine. The salon asks for 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule and sends confirmation texts the day before. Full grooms usually take three to four hours, and a shorter express option is available for an extra fee. Walk-in eye and nail trimming are also offered. The salon is on Jefferson Street in Haymarket, Virginia.
