KC-K9 Academy

KC-K9 Academy is a mobile dog training company serving southern Wisconsin, run by owner and lead trainer Kate Bucci, who has worked with dogs for more than 18 years. The program focuses on relationship-based training, drive building for sport and working dogs, aggression, and diet and nutrition, with a holistic view that ties diet and lifestyle to behavior. Training is customized to each dog, and the team also offers puppy guidance and board and rehab programs.

Most work happens in the client's home through in-home private lessons, enrichment visits on weekdays between 11am and 2:30pm, and a day camp program that requires dogs to ride in a safety kennel. Board and train stays are limited to a few dogs at a time, and the rehab program takes only one or two dogs at once. Consultations are booked in advance, and the business is located at 675 Industrial Court in Hartland.
